Making soccer accessible. Building stronger communities.
Access to sport should be normal — not exceptional.
Sport has the power to change routines, confidence, and long-term outcomes — but only if children are given real access. At Metro Brooklyn Soccer Club, community impact is not a side project. It is part of how we operate, grow, and measure success.
We believe every child deserves:
- a safe environment to move
- a place to belong
- consistent physical activity
- positive adult role models
Our mission is to remove barriers — financial, social, physical — and make organized soccer part of everyday life for children across Brooklyn.

Schools & After-School Programs
Where many children start organized sport for the first time.
For most children in our school-based programs, this is their first experience with organized soccer.
We become:
- their introduction to team sports
- their source of movement during long academic days
- a bridge between school and after-school life
We understand the responsibility:
The first sport a child experiences often becomes “their” sport.

Stability, not one-time events
Our programs are designed to stay consistent.
- Attendance never drops below 90%
- Children return weekly
- Parents see visible changes in energy, focus, and confidence
- Schools receive positive feedback from families
We support schools by:
- taking full responsibility for program delivery
- managing staff, safety, structure, and communication
- reducing pressure on school resources and space
Tournaments & Community Events
Building pride and shared experiences
We actively organize:
- school-based tournaments
- inter-school after-school matches
- named events tied to school identity and celebrations
Example:
The Hebrew Public Soccer Tournament — held quarterly between three charter schools — brought together 150+ children, families, medals, trophies, and shared pride.

Inclusive & Adaptive Programs
Soccer for children of all abilities
We actively design and deliver programs for children with:
- autism spectrum needs
- ADHD
- different physical ability levels
Our experience includes large-scale inclusive events and ongoing classes — where safety, patience, and dignity come first.
Supporting Ukrainian Children & Refugee Families
In partnership with Hebrew Public, we support Ukrainian children displaced by the war.
- 50+ Ukrainian children currently participate in our after-school programs
- Soccer becomes a language-free way to connect, belong, and heal
- Programs are delivered with cultural sensitivity and stability
